My recent online shopping experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story as a warning. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid for "next day delivery" only to have my order take over a week, and trying to get a refund or even speak to a human was an infuriating battle. Everything is automated and forces you to interact with a live chat bot or an endless phone system that they hope you’ll just give up on from pure frustration. This terrible service is why I felt it was crucial to try and contact customer service, despite the obvious challenges.
Customer: I paid for next day delivery, and my glasses arrived a week later. I want my $19.95 delivery fee refunded. CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the shipping delay. Let me check your order details for you. Can you please provide your order number? Customer: My order number is [Order Number]. It’s unacceptable to charge for a service you don’t provide. Your site explicitly stated "next day delivery," not "seven business days." CS Rep: I see the issue with your delivery timeframe. We sincerely apologize that your order did not arrive within the promised next-day window. There must have been an unforeseen delay in our processing or with the carrier. Customer: Unforeseen delay? The email immediately after my purchase said 3 business days, not next day. And my glasses had plano lenses, there was no complex production. I've sent six emails and gotten no response. I just want my money back for the service I didn't receive. CS Rep: You are absolutely right, and I completely understand your frustration. We should have communicated better and honored the shipping speed you paid for. I am processing a full refund for the $19.95 next-day delivery fee right now. Please allow 3-5 business days for it to appear in your account.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
